Released in 1998, Le Feu d'Issey by Issey Miyake is woody, aromatic, soft spicy perfume with lactonic undertones. Crafted by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. Unique and ahead of its time, a masterpiece according to some, deserves all of the five stars in turin's guide. It opens with anise, bergamot, bulgarian rose, coconut, coriander leaf and mahogany, transitions through heart notes of caramel, golden lily, jasmine, milk, rose and sichuan pepper, and settles into a warm base of cedar, guaiac wood, musk, sandalwood, vanilla and white amber. Good Projection and performance is above average 6+ hours.
