Released in 1992, Maroussia by Slava Zaitsev is powdery, amber, woody perfume with warm spicy undertones. Deep and unique scent, great for winter months, inexpensive but not cheap. It opens with aldehydes, bergamot, orange blossom and peach, transitions through heart notes of carnation, heliotrope, iris, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, orchid, rose, tuberose and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of amber, benzoin, cedar, civet, musk, sandalwood, tonka bean and vanilla. Good Projection and performance is average around 3 hours.
