Released in 2006, Chypre Rouge by Serge Lutens is honey, woody, aromatic perfume with fresh spicy undertones. Crafted by Christopher Sheldrake. Unusual balance of dark elements, ideal for dead of winter season, evokes imagery of a forest with red trees and fruits. It opens with caraway and pine tree needles, transitions through heart notes of beeswax, honey and jasmine, and settles into a warm base of amber, musk, oakmoss, patchouli and vanilla. Intimate Projection and performance is average around 3 hours.
