All content on this site, including our database, curated collections, information, user reviews, and other materials, is the property of The Scent Base. You are not allowed to use, distribute, or reproduce our content for any commercial or personal activity without explicit written consent.

3. Independence & Disclosure

The Scent Base is an independent company. We are not sponsored by, associated with, or linked to any perfume brand. While we may run paid promotions from time to time, these will always be explicitly mentioned. We operate as an entirely independent entity.

4. Authenticity & Sourcing

All fragrances offered by The Scent Base are 100% authentic products. We ethically source our perfumes from reputable manufacturers and distributors. We do not create, manufacture, or alter any fragrances, nor do we sell "inspired," mixed, or imitation perfumes.

5. Decants and Packaging

Our decanting service involves transferring original perfumes into smaller glass atomisers for your convenience. Please note:

• Decants are rebottled independently by The Scent Base.
• These arrive in glass atomisers of the specified size and are not in the original manufacturer's packaging or bottles.
• Full perfume bottles, when sold, will arrive in the manufacturer's original packaging.

6. Product Variations & Liability

Fragrances often go through batch variations. Differences in performance or concentration between batches are beyond our control. Furthermore, The Scent Base is not responsible if a third-party brand mimmicks or clones another fragrance.

Allergies: For allergy and ingredient information, please refer to the original manufacturer's ingredient lists. We are not liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities.

7. User-Generated Content

Our services may enable you to post reviews and other content. Any content you submit to public areas will be accessible by anyone. We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or accuracy of information you choose to make public.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us for deletion.

We utilize multiple data centers and fulfillment partners globally to store and process your information efficiently.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Scent Base, its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or products. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

All products are provided "as is" and "as available." While we guarantee the authenticity of every fragrance we sell, we make no warranties regarding fragrance longevity, sillage, or subjective performance, as these may vary between individuals, environments, and batch variations. Decanted products are transferred from the original manufacturer's bottle and are not covered by the original manufacturer's warranty.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal proceedings in accordance with the governing law outlined above.
