Released in 2016, Rose des Vents by Louis Vuitton is rose, powdery, fruity perfume with green undertones. Crafted by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. Bright and sweet rose fragrance, linear, high quality rose notes that do not turn sour or bitter, pleasant silage. It opens with black currant, green notes and peach, transitions through heart notes of iris, may rose, rose and turkish rose, and settles into a warm base of cedar, orris root, pepper, violet leaf and white musk. Rose des Vents is a beautiful, airy rose scent that leans decidedly feminine. The initial burst of peach and green notes quickly gives way to a fresh, natural rose heart, which I find quite elegant. It’s a clean and sophisticated floral, perfect for a spring day out or the office. The moderate sillage makes it great for social gatherings without being overwhelming, and it lasts a good while on skin. If you enjoy a modern, bright rose, this is certainly one to consider.
