Released in 1982, Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is aromatic, woody, fresh spicy perfume with citrus undertones. Crafted by Pierre Wargnye. Affordable price point, reminiscent of barbershops and old-fashioned masculinity, classic and well-known scent. It opens with artemisia, basil, bergamot, lavender, lemon, lemon verbena, mint and rosemary, transitions through heart notes of angelica, carnation, cinnamon, coriander, jasmine, juniper and wormwood, and settles into a warm base of amber, cedar, fir, leather, oakmoss, patchouli, pine tree needles, resins, sandalwood and vetiver. Intimate Projection and performance is average around 3 hours.
