If you're after a classic, understated sandalwood, Santal Imperial is a solid choice. The opening is a bright citrus pop, but it quickly settles into a creamy, slightly sweet sandalwood and a salty ambergris base that feels incredibly smooth and sophisticated. Don't expect a beast mode projector though; it stays quite intimate, making it perfect for the office or a casual evening out where you want something elegant but not overpowering.
