Released in 1981, Gianni by Versace is amber, warm spicy, white floral perfume with woody undertones. It opens with aldehydes, bergamot, fruity notes and spices, transitions through heart notes of carnation, gardenia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, narcissus, orris root and tuberose, and settles into a warm base of amber, benzoin, incense, leather, myrrh, oakmoss, patchouli and sandalwood.
