Released in 2012, Bois Noir by Robert Piguet is woody, amber, powdery perfume with balsamic undertones. Crafted by Aurélien Guichard. Resinous, warm fragrance, good longevity and sillage, niche scent at a designer price. It opens with cedar and guaiac wood, transitions through heart notes of patchouli and sandalwood, and settles into a warm base of labdanum, musk and resins. Good Projection and performance is above average 6+ hours.
