Released in 1991, Basic Black by Bill Blass is warm spicy, woody, amber perfume with sweet undertones. It opens with bergamot, cardamom, carnation, mandarin orange, peach, plum and ylang-ylang, transitions through heart notes of carnation, coriander, honey, jasmine, rose, tuberose, violet and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of amber, benzoin, civet, coconut, musk, oakmoss, patchouli, sandalwood, styrax and vetiver. Good Projection and performance is average around 3 hours.
