Released in 1969, essence by Dior is warm spicy, woody, earthy perfume with aromatic undertones. Crafted by Max Gavarry. Beautiful, complex fragrance with notes that come and go in harmony, great for vintage scent enthusiasts, velvety and well-rounded. It opens with aldehydes, bergamot, fruity notes, green notes, orange and patchouli, transitions through heart notes of carnation, cinnamon, geranium, jasmine, orris root, rose, tuberose, violet and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of benzoin, musk, oakmoss, patchouli, styrax, vanilla and vetiver. Good Projection and performance is above average 6+ hours.
