Released in 1957, L'Interdit by Givenchy is powdery, woody, iris perfume with violet undertones. Crafted by Francis Fabron. Good for Audrey Hepburn fans, soft and velvety scent, quality fragrance with a vintage feel. It opens with aldehydes, bergamot, mandarin orange, peach, spices and strawberry, transitions through heart notes of iris, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, narcissus, orris root, rose, violet and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of amber, benzoin, musk, sandalwood, tonka bean and vetiver.
