Released in 1953, Jolie Madame by Pierre Balmain is aromatic, white floral, earthy perfume with animalic undertones. Crafted by Germaine Cellier. Leathery and flowery, very french, vintage scent. It opens with artemisia, bergamot, cloves, coriander, gardenia, neroli and petitgrain, transitions through heart notes of jasmine, lilac, narcissus, orange blossom, orris root, rose, tuberose and violet leaf, and settles into a warm base of cedar, civet, coconut, leather, musk, oakmoss, patchouli, tobacco and vetiver.
