Released in 1921, N°5 (Vintage) by Chanel is aldehydic, powdery, woody perfume with fresh undertones. Crafted by Ernest Beaux. It opens with aldehydes, bergamot, lemon, neroli and ylang-ylang, transitions through heart notes of iris, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, orris root and rose, and settles into a warm base of amber, civet, musk, oakmoss, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla and vetiver. Good Projection and performance is long lasting 8+ hours.
