Released in 1925, Shalimar Eau de Cologne by Guerlain is amber, citrus, woody perfume with balsamic undertones. Silky, smoky vanilla with bergamot and soft leather and iris powder, smooth and sophisticated scent, long lasting staying power. It opens with bergamot, cedar, lemon and mandarin orange, transitions through heart notes of iris, jasmine, patchouli, rose and vetiver, and settles into a warm base of benzoin, civet, incense, leather, musk, opoponax, peru balsam, sandalwood and vanilla.
