Released in 2012, Shalimar Ode a la Vanille Sur la route de Madagascar by Guerlain is citrus, amber, vanilla perfume with woody undertones. Resembles the original Shalimar EDP, base notes smell like vanilla ice cream, top notes are fruity. It opens with bergamot, cedar, citruses, lemon and mandarin orange, transitions through heart notes of iris, jasmine, patchouli, rose and vetiver, and settles into a warm base of civet, incense, leather, musk, opoponax, sandalwood, tonka bean and vanilla. Good Projection and performance is above average 6+ hours.
