Released in 1989, Sun by Jil Sander is amber, vanilla, powdery perfume with sweet undertones. Crafted by Pierre Bourdon. Soft, creamy, and balsamic, smells like a nostalgic memory of summer days, perfect for beach days. It opens with african orange flower, amalfi lemon, bergamot, cassis, fruity notes and palisander rosewood, transitions through heart notes of carnation, heliotrope, lily-of-the-valley, orris root, rose and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of amber, benzoin, musk, patchouli, sandalwood, styrax, tobacco leaf, tonka bean and vanille.
