Released in 2006, Royal Ceylan by Creed is citrus, woody, aromatic perfume with green undertones. Crafted by Olivier Creed and Erwin Creed. It opens with bergamot, ginger, green tea, rice and tangerine, transitions through heart notes of lotus, sea salt and tea, and settles into a warm base of cedar, lemon, petitgrain and vetiver. Projection Monster and performance is above average 6+ hours.

This scent opens with a beautiful blast of bright citrus and a unique salty green tea accord that feels incredibly uplifting. While Royal Ceylan was originally for women, I find it has a strong unisex appeal, though it does lean slightly feminine. This one projects like crazy, so it's a statement maker for a lively spring or summer day out, or a casual social gathering, maybe a bit much for a quiet office setting. The dry down has this subtle, almost creamy rice note that's quite distinctive and really pulls you in.
