Released in 2024, Centaurus by Creed is warm spicy, amber, vanilla perfume with cinnamon undertones. It opens with cardamom, cinnamon, pink pepper and tobacco, transitions through heart notes of geranium, heliotrope, jasmine, patchouli and sandalwood, and settles into a warm base of ambroxan, benzoin, bourbon vanilla, tolu balsam and tonka bean. Centaurus opens with a rich, inviting blend of warm spices and a prominent tobacco note, immediately giving off a sophisticated, masculine vibe. It projects well for a few hours and lasts all day on my skin, making it fantastic for a cooler evening out or a special social gathering. The dry down settles into a creamy vanilla and amber sweetness with a touch of the sandalwood, which I find really comforting. While it is unique, it feels like Creed's take on that popular tobacco and vanilla profile, almost like their answer to fragrances in the vein of Herod or Carlisle.
