Released in 1968, Irisia by Creed is woody, powdery, earthy perfume with amber undertones. Crafted by James Henry Creed. It opens with bergamot, mandarin orange, mimosa and peach, transitions through heart notes of iris, tuberose and violet, and settles into a warm base of amber, ambergris, cedar, oakmoss, patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla. Good Projection and performance is above average 6+ hours.

This scent carries the hallmark of a bygone era of perfumery, feeling incredibly refined and gracefully feminine. It's a beautiful floral green, with the iris and violet creating a lovely powdery heart balanced by a deep, earthy oakmoss base. Performance on Irisia is stellar, projecting quite strongly and lasting well through the day, making it perfect for a formal event or a significant social gathering. While not my personal style, I can absolutely appreciate the artistry here; it reminds me of something a sophisticated aunt might have worn.
