Released in 1949, Eau de Verveine by Penhaligon's is aromatic, citrus, soft spicy perfume with fresh spicy undertones. It opens with amalfi lemon, bergamot, clary sage, coriander, lime and petitgrain, transitions through heart notes of clove and lavender, and settles into a warm base of musk, vanille and virginia cedar.
