Released in 1978, pour Homme by Van Cleef & Arpels is aromatic, woody, warm spicy perfume with fresh spicy undertones. Crafted by Louis Monnet. Beautiful classic fragrance with oakmoss, rose, leather, vetiver, and patchouli, longevity of 10+ hours, silage/projection of 9/10 for the first few hours. It opens with basil, bergamot, caraway, citruses, green notes, juniper berries, lavender, marjoram and sage, transitions through heart notes of artemisia, carnation, cedar, cloves, jasmine, orris root, patchouli, rose, spicy notes and vetiver, and settles into a warm base of amber, coconut, labdanum, leather, musk, oakmoss and sandalwood.
