Released in 2003, L'Eau d'Hiver by Frederic Malle is musky, powdery, citrus perfume with floral undertones. Crafted by Jean-Claude Ellena. Delicately balanced formula, atmospheric, associative, surreal fragrance, lovely and gorgeous scent. It opens with bergamot, calamus, grapefruit, green notes, lemon and pink pepper, transitions through heart notes of hawthorn, heliotrope, honey, iris, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, orange blossom, rose, violet and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of amber, angelica, benzoin, cedar, hay, sandalwood, tonka and white musk.
