Released in 1965, Melograno (Pomegranate) by Santa Maria Novella is woody, mossy, earthy perfume with citrus undertones. Evokes feelings of old-fashioned elegance, unique and complex scent, powdery and resinous with woodsy notes. It opens with bergamot, bitter orange and spices, transitions through heart notes of pomegranate, rose and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of labdanum, musk, oakmoss and patchouli.
