Overall scent
Community-only average: 3.0
Released in 2016, Orchid Soleil by Tom Ford is white floral, vanilla, sweet perfume with tuberose undertones. Crafted by Sonia Constant. Creamy and unique scent, bottle design looks great, works well in hot and humid weather. It opens with bitter orange, cypress and pink pepper, transitions through heart notes of red lily and tuberose, and settles into a warm base of chestnut, orchid, patchouli, vanilla and whipped cream. Good Projection and performance is above average 6+ hours.

Orchid Soleil is a distinctly feminine flanker to Black Orchid, offering a lush, creamy white floral experience with a unique, almost gourmand sweetness from the whipped cream and chestnut. This one projects quite strongly and lasts for a good while on skin, so it's definitely not one for the office. Instead, I think it absolutely shines for a sophisticated social gathering or a memorable date night; the prominent tuberose in this is just captivating.
