Released in 2013, Star Musk by Xerjoff is amber, powdery, floral perfume with warm spicy undertones. Crafted by Chris Maurice. It opens with amber, floral notes and mandarin orange, transitions through heart notes of carnation, cinnamon, iris, patchouli, sandalwood and vetiver, and settles into a warm base of benzoin, musk, opoponax, sandalwood and vanilla. Good Projection and performance is long lasting 8+ hours.

Star Musk is a surprisingly warm and inviting scent, despite the initial burst of citrus. The sandalwood and vanilla create a comforting base that lasts incredibly well, making it perfect for a date night or a sophisticated social gathering. I find the musk is quite prominent but never overpowering, which is a testament to the blend. It’s a bit richer than I usually go for, but I've found myself reaching for it more often than I expected.
