Released in 2012, Oud Luban by Xerjoff is oud, fresh spicy, woody perfume with white floral undertones. Crafted by Chris Maurice. It opens with black pepper and bulgarian rose, transitions through heart notes of agarwood (oud) and orange blossom, and settles into a warm base of agarwood (oud), cedar, incense and vetiver. Good Projection and performance is above average 6+ hours.

Oud Luban really leans into that smoky, resinous oud with a hint of dark rose, giving it a sophisticated and slightly mysterious vibe. It projects well without being obnoxious and lasts a good while on my skin, making it ideal for a cooler evening out or a special social gathering. I wouldn't wear it to the office, but for a date night or just feeling confidently put together, it's perfect. The black pepper and vetiver keep it from getting too sweet, which I appreciate.
