Released in 2012, King Masarat by Xerjoff is oud, vanilla, citrus perfume with soft spicy undertones. Crafted by Chris Maurice. It opens with blood orange and lavender, transitions through heart notes of agarwood (oud), jasmine, licorice and rose, and settles into a warm base of agarwood (oud) and vanilla. Good Projection and performance is average around 3 hours.

A bright citrus and lavender kick starts King Masarat, but it quickly settles into a rich, oriental vanilla and prominent oud blend. The licorice note adds this really cool, slightly dark sweetness that makes it stand out from other oud-vanilla scents. On my skin it leans quite masculine, projecting well with serious longevity, so it's best reserved for a special date night or a formal social gathering rather than daily office wear.
