Released in 2017, Aubres by Xerjoff is aromatic, fresh spicy, amber perfume with citrus undertones. Crafted by Chris Maurice. It opens with bergamot and italian lemon, transitions through heart notes of basil, elemi, galbanum, incense, lavender and myrtle, and settles into a warm base of atlas cedar, labdanum and patchouli. Good Projection and performance is average around 3 hours.

Aubres opens with a bright spark before settling into a truly engaging woody aromatic experience. I really enjoy how the greenness of basil and galbanum mixes with the mystical incense, creating something both grounding and intriguing. This one has solid longevity and a comfortable sillage, making it an excellent choice for a sophisticated office environment or a relaxed social gathering. It feels quite versatile.
