Released in 2013, Emery by Xerjoff is rose, fresh spicy, aromatic perfume with woody undertones. Crafted by Chris Maurice. It opens with bergamot, bulgarian rose and geranium, transitions through heart notes of cloves, egyptian jasmine, pink pepper, rum and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of agarwood (oud), guaiac wood, vanilla, vetiver and white musk. Good Projection and performance is long lasting 8+ hours.

Emery is a bold, captivating scent with a surprising sweetness that cuts through the heavier oud and spice notes. Its longevity is fantastic, easily lasting a full workday, making it perfect for a date night or a sophisticated evening event. I find the rum note particularly intriguing, giving it a unique depth I don't often encounter. It's strong enough to be noticed but not overpowering for office use.
