Released in 2022, Amphorae 27 by Xerjoff is fresh spicy, musky, animalic perfume with warm spicy undertones. It opens with black pepper, brazilian orange, calabrian bergamot, cardamom, cloves and cumin, transitions through heart notes of bulgarian rose, nutmeg and ylang-ylang, and settles into a warm base of ambergris, civet, madagascar vanilla, musk and singapore patchouli. Good Projection and performance is average around 3 hours.

Amphorae 27 is a very rich and opulent fragrance that, to my nose, leans quite feminine despite its unisex branding. The initial burst of spicy cloves and cardamom settles beautifully into a luxurious blend of rose and animalic base notes like civet and ambergris. It projects well and has solid longevity, making it perfect for a formal event or a memorable date night. I find it a bit too bold for office wear, but it's incredibly intriguing for a social gathering where you want to stand out.
