There's a definite dark, woody character to Amphorae 56, with that smoky birch and deep incense really coming through, softened just enough by vanilla. It leans distinctly masculine, giving off a confident and sophisticated aura that I really enjoy. This one's a powerhouse when it comes to projection, easily filling a room and lasting for ages on my skin. It's definitely not an office scent, but perfect for a date night or any evening social gathering when you want to make a memorable statement.
